What Should I Do, Go to College or Move Out?

Question by Shasha: What should I do, go to college or move out?
First off, it has always been my dream to live in CA by the beach just working a minimum wage job. I am an 18 girl and jut graduated high school. I got accepted to a school in CA right on the beach! But, my parents found out that i have been smoking weed for the past year and everything went sour. We came to an agreement that i would not smoke as long as they were supporting me which was fine by me, they made an arrangement with the school counselor to randomly drug test me. Then, they threatened to not pay for college if I did not attend a drug addiction class. (Weed isn’t addicting and I attended a few sessions and it was just ridiculous, marijuana users do not need to be there.) I refused to go and they then told me i would not be attending that college. I then planned out my future and arranged to move to a different city to live in an apartment she was wanting to buy but needed a room mate. She already had a job there and said she could get me one as well. Then out of no where, my parents decided that they still would pay for college.
This is where i need the help. Moving out and doing my own thing, taking care of myself, and having total control over what I do in my life got me really excited and i was actually looking forward to moving out! I never even wanted to go to college until my parents said i could go in CA. I’m an antifeminist so i don’t even think girls should go to college, i’d just be using it to get myself in California. I really don’t know what to do. Everyone says how important college is and stuff but I don’t even want a real job ever! i just want a minimum wage job while (hopefully one day) my husband will have the real job bringing in the money. I’m at a crossroads and either decision will drastically change my life. I have money saved up to move out so i’d be okay. My parents said they will not help me or give me anything if i decide to move out, which is fine. This whole thing just made me realize that maybe what i really want is to move out and be independent..but that means giving up paradise..

What should I do?! i WANT the freedom to do whatever i want in my life without having mommy & daddy telling me “NO!” (I’m not just talking about marijuana, i’m talking about everything). This is the hardest choice i’ve ever had to make. I guess i have my whole life to move to CA right?

PS. Don’t talk about weed being bad, I have my parents for that, trust me -.-
I forgot to mention that “she” is my friend that lives in a different city that has the apartment ready, sorry about that!
