He is one of our clients. He’s been here a little over a month, and he’s getting ready to graduate our program here at Palm Partners. Now he has come in and generously offered to tell us his story in the hopes of helping other people. Joel, I want to thank you personally for coming. It’s a very generous thing that you do to tell us your story in the hopes of trying to help someone else. So I appreciate it. Now, you’re from the Orlando area. Tell me a little bit about when you were young and what maybe got you off track. Joel: Yeah, not a problem. I came from a really normal suburb family of Orlando. No real substance abuse problems in the family. I thought everything was normal until I got to about sophomore year in high school. Started dibbling, dabbling in marijuana and it just went up from there. Tried different things, other substances that I didn’t think was a big deal. I thought it was just a normal way of high school kids doing stuff. Mark: Sure.
