My Stomach Is Turning & Heart Sunk… Phila Area Reports a Woman Claims to Have Thrown a Newborn Over Bridge!?

Question by Angel_Mom of 2 Pretty Girls: My stomach is turning & heart sunk… Phila area reports a woman claims to have thrown a newborn over bridge!?
I heard this on the news this morning… In the Philadelphia area about reports that someone claimed a newborn was thrown off a bridge during the early morning hours. Still no proof if this is true or not but rescue teams and police jumped into action in a search effort. Now more reports are coming out that the woman who called in the claim to a South Jersey hospital also called a drug rehab and also claimed to have thrown her 2 & 4 year old over the bridge also…

I am praying this isn’t true… My heart has sunk with the possibility that THREE children have had their lives taken…

I realize that these horrific stories have affected me more deeply since becoming a mother, and now that I am pregnant with #2 I feel even more deeply affected.

What are your thoughts?! Do you think its true, has finding a maternal sense made hearing of these evils affected you more than before pregnancy or motherhood?

I hadn’t heard of those other stories… It really baffles my mind how people can harm their children, or place their children in harms way!!!

A few months back there was a father who kidnapped his 3 month old from the maternal grandmother while the mother was in court filing for a protection/restraining order… He threw the baby over a bridge. Her body was discovered a few months later. It is such a tragic waste of an innocent life!!!

These days nothing surprises me. I’m still getting over the lady in TX who killed her kids because they were autistic and called 911 and told them in a calm voice what she did and the fact that she did because she wanted normal kids. Its so disgusting. I really hope she didn’t though thats horrible.

What do you think? Answer below!
