Are There Any Drug Rehab Programs in Solebury, Pennsylvania That Will Allow Other People to Join In?

Question by amelia f: Are there any drug rehab programs in Solebury, Pennsylvania that will allow other people to join in?
I figured my husband will be having an easier time inside a drug rehab if he’s got me with him for some counseling and therapy sessions.

Sorry, but you figure wrong. If your husband is going to check into rehab – he needs to do it on his own. having you around would make it more difficult. that’s why rehabs won’t allow spouses to be in the same rehab facility together, even if they are both on drugs.

It’s the same thing with after care and counseling. You’ll need to have some for yourself – just for you, because when your husband stops doing drugs, everything will change, but not the way you imagine it will.

If you want to go to the family meetings that’s great and check out support systems for yourself, but the only way your husband will make it is if He does it by himself.

good luck

]sorry if i didn’t make myself clear. Of course it it good to join in with family counseling – just like I said – and some facilities do encourage families 9 mothers and children at least to go through rehab together. but that’s if both parents are addicts. Even those are not always the best situation, however, because addiction, serious addiction is a life threatening illness – sometimes ya only get one chance to fix it – when you do, you have to do it all the way, on your own. I stand firm on that having been in rehab and a 12 step group for most of my life. i’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. Couples in rehab don’t usually make it.
