i know i posted a similar question like this before but i need more responses. the more responses i get the more ideas i can come up with. i’ve expressed a concern about making my teen drama book series as realistic as possible as well as including the teen drama cliches such as the spoiled rich girl and the star athlete. i want to make the story about teens dealing with real life issues.
i’ve also mentioned that tv shows and movies give me tons of ideas. here are the shows(just in case it helps):

now here are the list of issues that i want to cover (it’s going to be a long list lol):
crushes, academic pressure, peer pressure, evolving friendships, shunning and isolation, love and relationships, family issues, dysfunctional families, SATs, STDS, eating disorders, mental illness, personality disorder, birth control, sexism, illegal situations, homosexuality, homophobia, gay rights, racism, abortion, adoption, teenage pregnancy, death, hate crimes, arrest, infidelity, college, domestic violence, stress, stepfamiles, school shootings, gang violence, military, religion, drug abuse, rape, child abuse, gang violence, suicide, alcoholism, and sexual harassment.
maybe you can help me come up with ideas, like post some stuff that you’ve gone through and dealt with in high school (i.e. relationships, friendships, betrayal, jealousy, death, addictions etc). give me some ideas from your own experience and give me some other ideas as well. that way when i get all your responses i can nix the ideas and have more ideas to choose from. i also need ideas on what to do with the teen drama cliches such as the spoiled rich girl, the star athlete, the class clown, the nerd, the emo kid, the cheerleader, etc. i want to include them but i also want to give them a bit of a twist. if you have any ideas on what i can do with that please post them! it would be so helpful reading all your ideas and seeing your creativity! but i need ideas on exactly everything that i have posted. that way i know exactly what to do when i start writing.
as for ideas from tv shows, i won’t be using the exact same ideas. they’ll be similar but i will change them around a bit.
